I think so... it's here:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie= ... 78027&z=16

(take a look further up the road away from Huntington Road to see a remaining poclet of Mercury... however you'll have to use the Zoom because this is one of the 1% of roads not on streetview!)

another pic of the installation in question... and looking at it, I'm not seeing a 2 part cell or a minicell on top
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie= ... 78027&z=16

Originally it would have had a GEC Z5570 (or 80) installed, as per two or three that still remain on a nearby road. My street's lighting would have looked like this too, as the column bases are the same (but now sleeved with 2600's fitted). These are North Yorkshire County Council installations as they were installed before York became a Unitary Authority in the late 1960's... similar installations exist elsewhere in Huntington, and in other towns and villages across North Yorkshire.

Well, the PFI round here is still going strong in places. Others not so fast.

This road got it's concretes sleeved and fitted with post top lanterns in the 1990's and it looked hideous. It's one of the only roads that I welcome the Iridiums which were fitted to the columns today.

Roundhay still has plenty of SOX:

This is still here and I might attempt to save it.

Does this one also not have a two-part cell?

You know, I've never really looked at that one! I pass it almost every day now, and haven't checked to see if it has a cell!

if only the door had a tri-head lock then I'd be able to open the door and look inside for a clock or photocell controller to draw a conclusion about it's control.

I thought that all the Revo Prefects were removed in the East Riding, well one suvives in Beverley:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en-GB&ie=UTF8&q=beverley+&hq=&hnear=Beverley,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.84577,-0.422687&spn=0,359.996578&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=53.845875,-0.423206&panoid=rXSIGEy5V2oM_mCN1dhVkA&cbp=12,247.04,,1,-7.5

Now i dont know if it stll works but its quite a find.

Also, for those interested - Rufforth has two Eleco Silver Ray lanterns remaining, one at each furthest column on the Wetherby road!

Naburn is still lit by mercury, both AC Ford lanterns and GEC Z8691's.

A road in york that was relit with Jet's less than a year ago is being relit with new taller columns and QSM's (possibly) running MH lamps.

(also, as a side note, while cycling today after dark between the A162 and Cawood, I looked back and saw Emley Moor lit up, and then a much dimmer stack of red lights to the right of it - Holme Moss)

The PFI is continuing in Leeds.

Whitehall Road and surrounding areas in the Wortley area now have Iridiums mounted post top. As much as I like the old lanterns, this area was quite dim for a main road and needed relighting.

Not been down the A6110 from the M621 for a while so not sure about the stretch past Matalan. I know the stretch from the M62 still has most of it's SOX remaining. Probably as it is a very busy road.

Parts of my local estate still have small remaining pockets of SOX, probably for the same reason.

I need to do a tour of Leeds and find out if anything remains.

Stelmer, I would imagine that some side streets or snickets would still have SOX lanterns. In Otley there use to be a Beta 5 on a fancy bracket, top entry too and this now has a large Iridium to it now.

Has Wetherby been PFI'd yet as if it hasn't then there'll be some right decent lanterns hopefully top entry too.

Last time I was there, Collingham was being relit - and one or two roads around the York Road bridge over the A1(M) had iridiums fitted. I haven't been there this year yet though - the closest I've got is Rudgate Crossroads, where I turned north and went to Cattal.
