Another CosmoPolis stronghold is about to be eradicated! Northamptonshire is apparently switching to LED. This will mean the removal of Mini Iridiums which have been installed during the PFI that started not too long ago.

I wonder if this is this a joint replacement scheme with Cambridgeshire then? I wonder what LED lanterns they’re going to choose. I believe Northamptonshire will be using the DW Windsor Kirium Pro S. Shame another SON/CosmoPolis/CFL stronghold is about to go.

Cast iron column, probably originally a gas column with AC Ford 888 by the Catherdral.



On Worcester Bridge over the Severn are these cast iron columns with large lanterns. The lanterns are have been painted gold since my visit in 2022.



The bus depot has some dayburning Phosco P224s and also some Philips MI80s in the background.

Stanton 10 concrete columns with Mi50s in Staffordshire, near Stoke on Trent.
