Street Light Collectors and Enthusiasts sites:

       
  Mike Barford: An extensive site covering information about items that Mike has acquired and restored, to pictures of old and new installations in and around Derbyshire, to data sheets on many aspects of street lighting related equipment.  
       
  Scot Bearford: Scot's site provides an excellent source of photographs of vintage lighting mostly in the home counties.  
       
  Simon Brown: A Fotopic gallery that has photos of the streetlighting in Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire and Wiltshire (broadly the "Wessex area"). Much of the lighting in this area is either already under going replacement via PFI schemes or will do so shortly. These photos are a record of the varied lighting in this area before it is lost forever.  
       
  Bob Cookson: Bob's site charts the history of lighting in Eastbourne itself and also contains photographs of Bob's extensive collection of lanterns, many of them rare, and not held in other collections elsewhere.  
       
  Simon Cornwell: Simon Cornwell's site collates a wealth of information much of it from back issues from the lighting journal "Public Lighting" as well as vintage data sheets and catalogues from manufacturers many of which no longer exist. To this he has added his own superb knowledge of lighting and details of his lantern collection and restorations. Regarded by many as the lighting reference site.  
       
  James Daniels: A Fotopic gallery of pictures taken in the South of England within the county of Hampshire and a few from further afield.  
       
  Andrew Dorrian: A site showing lighting from the Hartlepool region and also of Andrew's collection.  
       
  DorsetWay: A Fotopic gallery of Dorset lighting but also includes photographs from Dublin, Malta and Berlin.  
       
Jim Eadon: Jim Eadon has constructed a "lighting blog" that focuses on pictures of old installations from around the UK.
  Matthew Eagles: A website celebrating the low-pressure sodium lamp or SOX lamp. The site covers the theory of SOX lighting, Matthew's collection and photographs of SOX lighting.  
       
  Colin Grimes: Colin has an extensive collection of lanterns and also lamps. His lamp collection not only covers street lighting but also other applications such as aircraft and runway lighting.  
       
Paul Harris: A Fotopic site dedicated to the lighting of Lancashire.
  Oliver Hennessy: This site is dedicated to different lighting installations around Grantham, Lincolnshire and other areas of the country.  
       
  Martyn Hicks: Photographs of lighting from around Bristol and also of Martyn's lantern collection.  
       
Martin Jones: Description to follow.
  Lamptech: James Hooker's invalueable reference site for all types of discharge lighting.  
       
  Tim Luckett: Tim is a keen photographer and his site has photographs of lighting from all over the UK.  
       
  Phil Macbean: A website covering all aspects of lighting, photographs from home and abroad and a very useful date calculator to decode the date codes on your old discharge lamps.  
       
  Chris Marshall: A gallery of photographs focusing on concrete columns.  
       
Chris Millinship: An online archive of pictures and details of the items in my personal collections. Light bulbs, christmas lights and other things that glow - of all ages, shapes, sizes and origins. And not just lights, there`s also the things essential to make those lights work - vintage electrical accessories like switches, sockets and plugs.
  Chris Nelson: The Northern Streetlights - the site is temporarily offline.  
       
  Russell Oakes: A photographic record of lighting in the north west of the UK.  
       
  Andrew Pate: Andrew's site shows his collection of lanterns, many rescued from the Carlisle area.  
       
  Simon Patterson: A website mainly covering traffic signals and other street furniture but also covering Simon's street light collection.  
       
  Claire Pendrous: Claire's comprehensive site covers all aspects of street lighting from a photographic record of lanterns from manufacturers past and present, to her collection of lanterns, lamps and brackets, to her research into the history of streetlighting. Worthy of mention is the history of AC Ford which Claire has documented.  
       
  James Percival: A gallery of streetlighting from the UK and also from Berlin.  
       
  Ben Perry: Ben's site is at present temporarily offline.  
       
  Phozagora (France): A website dedicated to French street lighting.  
       
  Brian Randall: A website with galleries of Bedfordshire lighting and also its lighting history.  
       
Santaarnpaal: A website dedicated to lighting in the Netherlands.
  Nick Smith: A website with galleries of the streetlighting of towns in Northamptonshire and also its lighting history.  
       
  SotonSteve: A Fotopic gallery featuring pictures of street lighting, focusing mainly on south Hampshire, but also venturing further afield.  
       
  Andrew Stanley: Photographs of lighting in the UK and from around the world, Andrew's extensive collection of lanterns pictured on his own columns against a clear blue sky and the history of lighting in Leeds.  
       
  Chris Sugg: A site dedicated to the history of the William Sugg company who were famous for their gas lighting products.  
       
Truvelo: Speedcam: Although a site dedicated to Speed Enforcement Cameras, this site also features streetlighting in many of the images.
  Davy Warren: Davy is a keen collector and photographer. His site contains photographs of his collection and also the lighting of Plymouth and the wider Devon area.  
       
  Wiltshire Streetlighting: A Fotopic gallery of the streetlighting in the towns and villages of predominately West Wiltshire.  
       
  James Wright: This website provides a photographic record of lighting in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
