Unsleeved columns like this in Southampton are now very rare and can only be found on a couple of streets in the city with their second generation GEC Z5580 lanterns. Those in Springford Crescent near the General Hospital were some of the lucky ones that survived into the new decade.

I have a couple taken just out in the road recently, got to love that orange SOX snow glow.

Deadline for photo submissions is monday night. (yes, I said 'voting' ends then, on the first post, but I made a typo and firefox is playing up again so I'm not correcting it!)
