Some cracking finds there!
Neath, now called Mercury City! Some rather nice finds from a visit to Neath last wednesday night, it seemed most streets had a mercury lamp of some sort burning away
The tell-tale bright white glow of this beauty was spotted from about half-mile away.
http://tinyurl.com/3yeg3zp GEC Small Oxford Z556X, amazing to see one with an original "acorn" bowl although it may be from another model of those GEC lanterns such as the Z5540, small Wembley which had a formed sheet metal rather than cast canopy.
I've never seen a side-entry lantern like this before, missing its bowl it seems.

http://tinyurl.com/2wz94vgMost of the columns around the area had exactly the same columns and brackets, but with a SOX lantern. Guess they changed out a lot of the mercurys for SOX a while ago.
Yep HW918s
I dont know what lantern this is, but its the last still burning mercury around this roundabout.
http://tinyurl.com/2wdej6q Looks like a Simplex Jupiter, quite rare now especially as its not been converted to SON.
Looks like Revo Solumbra
In fact there are so many mercury post-tops remaining in the Cimla area, i'd be here all night putting them up! I estimate from a quick drive around the Cimla area, I saw about 20-25!
Now a couple of lanterns for the SOX guys on here
Old road, Cwrt Sart
