This is the final vote-off for this year (I'd also say "decade, but we've only been doing this for a year so it isn't worth it!), so we can decide what we think is THE BEST streetlighting picture for the year 2009. 2 days of voting - ends 02.22 on saturday the 2nd.... but we'll call it "new years day" for now! one vote for everybody, can be changed until poll ends - same rules as for other photo votes.... Just remember not to vote for your own picture(s) - which may make things tricky for one or two of you! because we haven't had a full year of POTM due to inconsiderate people not paying their fees and thus Ukastle2 going down by proxy, I'm also including the photo of the trial POTM in this vote-off 1 GEC "bricks" above the M3/M25 by Sotonsteve 2 'A WRTL 2000 at Dawn', by Santaarnpaal 3 'A GEC Z9481 and swan-neck bracket in the shape of a love heart, taken in Colchester on Valentines Day 2009', by David 4 'A couple of concrete survivors, two of several fine examples on the A410 Uxbridge Road between Pinner Green and Hatch End', by David. 5 'A pair of GEC Z5676s bathing in the late morning sun', by side_salad (Indust) 6 'A good old picture of 8 metre low pressure sodium, high pressure mercury and high pressure sodium standing side by side at the entrance of Clacton Railway Station, as photographed through fog in December 1995', by David 7 amazing surviving fluorescents found on a forecourt, by Phosco152 8 Holophane QSM lanterns on curvy brackets against a spring sunset, by Mazeteam 9 "Catenary lighting as far as the eye can see", by David 10 an image of a working gas light in Millington Road Cambridge, pictured during heavy snowfall in February 2009. By Claire ... And you thought some Photo Of The Month voting threads were tricky to choose!!!! |
