Okay, voting is now open for 3 days until december 3rd at the time of this message being posted (roughly 2am)

don't vote for your own photo
you may re-cast your vote up until the poll closes

I think I know what it is... The sun sets and rises at times when most of us are out and about, so we can get pictures at the "transition" times.

It was a close one this month between two main contenders... but the winner is David's picture of the endless catenary lighting. I have placed the picture into the winners' gallery... and by the magic of the scripts I have on the server, the home page has been automatically updated with the new POTM image, and the POTM gallery also has this photo added.

(I haven't yet worked out how to get the image auto-sizer to work on the homepage, but I guess it isn't really needed until we get a really large image as the winner)

I'm regretting entering two images now!

Anyway, as a heads-up, I plan to start the december entries a few days early or reduce the time for entering to less than a week... something like that so that we know the photo for december by roughly boxing day sort of time...
