At the start of this month, the power went out in and around our area for about an hour. All the houses and streetlights in the road were plunged into darkness. However, power and lighting in the rest of Newport remained on, and the intense skyglow from the ever encroaching SON lighting all around meant you could still see your way around outside perfectly well. Lights out, but the sky is still the colour of orangeade... (30 second exposures at F2.8/ISO100. Sun had long since set) |

Please! remember not to vote for your own image. If, when the poll ends, we find that somebody has voted for their own image - that vote will be shifted down the line to the next image in the poll that has been taken by another member. As normal, votes can be changed up until the time of the poll closing. |
