Click here to view the new Site Policies and Useful Information page.

This means that they are no longer stored as forum topics in this section of the board. There have been a few minor adjustments to the T&Cs/rules so this may be a good time to read over them again so that they're fresh in your mind.

The site footer will be updated momentarily with a clickable link to this new page.

Just to re-iterate, this is to neaten up the announcements section of the forum - which was getting a bit cluttered with various important announcements. When a change to site policy is made, it will be changed on this new web page as opposed to a new announcement being made... although the global Notice function will be used to alert everybody if a policy is changed.

As it has now been over a year since these terms of use were published in another thread (before the proper page linked to above was built), on behalf of the management I would like to encourage all members to re-read this page again to make sure that the guidlines stated are being followed. No action is required on your part if the guidlines are being followed, and this is not being posted because the management are taking action on any matters - this is simply a reminder. Please carefully read the content on the page below, because use of this forum is stating that you agree to these terms.

Due to recent growth in popularity of this forum I feel it is wise to put on a reminder to check what you type.

This forum is visited and content is read by professionals from lighting companies and street lighting contractors... so if you are making a derogatory remark, please make sure it is in the form of constructive critism and not just in the form of "xx is a load of rubbish".
