Here we showcase the finest streetlighting images that we have to offer. Members can submit what they believe to be the best images they have for a certain period of time, then later the UKASTLE community will vote on these images and the winning image is then displayed here for all to see. -- The winning photo for January 2010 is this picture of Thorn Beta 2's illuminating the end of the road at night, in the snow. Taken by Chris M.

The voting round to decide the Photo of the Month for May resulted in a tiebreak situation. A further round of voting was added to choose between the two tied images, but resulted in a tied result again. Therefore, the photo of the month for May is a "coalition" of both winning images. Both images are by David, Urbis K-Luxes lighting a zig-zag path on the side of Bournemouth's cliffs.  A Phosco P235 on a retrofitted swan-neck and ancient REVO cast iron post.

After a tiebreak for the 3rd consecutive month, just one vote tipped the balance in favour of this image for the June competition: PFI Replacement in Southampton by sotonsteve
