- the A546 from Llandudno west shore to north shore is lit by these Alpha 3's on stanton columns. a nice unspoilt view here of the string of Alpha 3's. Elsewhere, there is evidence that other roads may have been lit by these on GEC columns.
- same road, but the view from the promenade, showing the extent of the installation
- An Abacus Orion at the Asda Llandudno carpark. Lots of lanterns have these bird scaring devices, called "Fascinators" (a local spelled it out to me) to stop herring gulls from landing and making a mess... however the intelligent crows have found out they can sit in the middle of the Fascinator and use that as a perch!
- Likely a reproduction former gas lantern with the pier behind
- A Thorn Riga has been installed on this concrete column that has likely had it's bracket sawn short to accomodate a side entry lantern, with the sun-kissed mountains at the northern edge of the Snowdonia National Park forming a brilliant backdrop
and 7 - Lantern comparison. on the right is a heritage lantern based on the design of a more original lantern elsewhere in the resort, whilst the installation on the left is how the town would have originally been lit - by GEC top entry mercury lanterns with acorn bowls on concrete GEC columns
- similar scene as photo 2 - but at sunset
- another example of the heritage lanterns used in the tourist areas of the town. Likely made by DW WIndsor
- Same type of lantern as image 9 - but this view is from an open top bus and clearly shows the DWW Diamond Optic reflector
